Rex is a family-run hotel located in the outskirts of the small town of Zacharo, at a distance of 1 km from the coastal line of western Peloponnese. The hospitality is fabulous. We arrived late at night, Valentina brought us complimentary cake to the room. The breakfast was amazing. It was off season, so we were the only guests, but Dora still made just for us the impressive array of breakfast dishes! The lobby is like a huge living room that is beautiful and feels very homey. The town is only half an hour drive to ancient Olympia, so if you are on your way to of from Olympia (as we were), this is an awesome place to spend the night.

The atmosphere of the house strikes the perfect balance between modern comfort and cozy charm. What truly made the experience unforgettable was our wonderful hostess, Alexandra. She was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Her warm hospitality made us feel cared for and added a personal touch that made the whole stay special. Without a doubt, this was a 10/10 experience, and we would happily return anytime. Highly recommended!
