This a wonderful genuine boutique hotel, the owners have created a terrific ambiance throughout. We booked a deluxe suite and it was a fabulous room. (Unfortunately it was very misty during our stay so there was no mountain view). The attention to detail was excellent, large bed and very comfortable. Very large bathroom with a bath and shower. The reception staff were first class. Our room was not ready on arrival but they provided tea/coffee and nice nibbles. Breakfast was a good spread. In summary, although there were a few issues with dinner this is still a great hotel and we would have no hesitation in returning again or recommending to family and friends.

The architecture of the place is just incredible. The owner, Georgi, and his mom Maria are the most pleasant people. Georgi is also a chef with lots of experience in the Belgian and Georgian cusine. We ate the best meal with natural ingredients and home made food. We had the best romantic time there, with the unmatchable view to the mountains. Hopefully we'll come back for more!

The cottage is cozy and the bed very comfortable. Getting into the property was easy and the host Ilia was readily available for any questions. Everything was very clean. I didn’t take advantage of the nearby pool access this stay, but it’s a lovely extra for guests to enjoy. I look forward to staying here again in the future :)

Situated within 8.8 km of King Erekle II Palace and 8.8 km of King Erekle II Palace, Ikalto Woods provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Telavi. With pool views, this accommodation offers a terrace. The campground features an outdoor swimming pool with a pool bar, as well as a hot tub and a 24-hour front desk. We enjoyed our stay at Ilkato Woods, which is under a year old so the rooms and pool are in good condition. Also we appreciated the swimming pool was slightly heated which made a big difference to us as we find most hotel pools too cold! The staff are friendly and answered any questions we had. Our flight back to the UK wasn't until the evening and they allowed us to check out the room free of charge. We had more or less the whole hotel to ourselves during the weekdays, and then was fully booked during the weekend with locals taking advantage of the weekend. Would highly recommend.

Giorgi was an incredibly gracious host, ensuring a seamless check-in process and providing all the necessary details. The villa itself is beautifully decorated, both inside and out, and the property grounds, shared with the Ambassadori Resort, offer wonderful space for walks and recreational activities such as golfing, tennis, and horseback riding. Highly recommended.
