Island Life Hostel is located 200 metres from Alcázar de Colón square and 350 metres from Casas Reales Museum. It features a swimming pool and free WiFi in public areas. People working at this hostel are amazing, truly go above and beyond to ensure that you enjoy your stay and have a great time. You’ll have no issues finding someone to join you for a night out or a day trip. Amenities are clean and modern, location is super safe yet close to the main spots. Hostel has it’s own bar with super affordable drinks, and they even do coffee (highly recommended). The breakfast is delicious, internet is quick and I would definitely stay here again.

Set in a historic building in Santo Domingo's Colonial Zone, once home to a former president, the adult-only Casa Sanchez is within 1 minute's walk of Conde street. The staff, they were attentive to our needs. They made us feel as if we were VIPs. The staff was knowledgeable and provided great recommendations on restaurants and places to go. Breakfast was made to order every morning. The location was in Zona Colonial and only a couple of minutes from Calle Conde and the main square. The hotel itself has a rich and interesting history.
