Set in a 12th-Century building, this hotel offers spa facilities and elegant rooms overlooking gardens and the beautiful Tauber Valley. It stands on the edge of Rothenburg’s Medieval town centre. Oh. I loved the dreaminess of this place. Already rothenburg is just magical and to sleep in this gorgeous hotel by the outside walls was a dream come true. Right from the many roses outside to the lovely Otto the concierge who had the graceful attitude that you could only find if you travel back in time. Then there was my room. The bavarian suite if im not mistaken. I was moved. And speechless. The forest views. The bed with the "baldacchino" the impeccable bathroom. The delighful wall paper! The breakfast was also very good indeed.

The large garden is well-kept, the interior is designed with taste, the modern furnishings and appliances are of high quality. Everything is very clean and well cared for. The family is very nice; they made us feel at home. The breakfast is excellent and plentiful. The location, in a suburb of Regensburg, is perfect for a longer stay to explore eastern Bavaria. In sum, everything was perfect, we would love to go back!

It exceeded our expectations in every aspect. The room was excellent and very clean. The staff was extremely accommodating. The facilities of the hotel are perfect and caters for every and any person. The food was of top quality. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

The rooms in the hunting lodge were beautiful and peaceful. The food was exceptional, we ate all all three restaurants. The breakfast was amazing, best bread ever! The Spa was probably the best spa I've ever visited. The treatments were excellent and reasonably priced. Tina is an outstanding masseuse I thought the overall price was reasonable for the services and amenities.
