If you want to stay close to Downtown San Jose, this is the place. A quiet neighborhood close to a street full of life and nice restaurants. Downtown is an easy walking distance. Check-in was fast and efficient and the on-site parking is very secure at no extra charge. Everything in our room was new and clean, including a washer and dryer. The view from the 11th floor was spectacular both at night and during the day. This is hands-down our first choice for a hotel San Jose

Stars so bright you felt like one with the planet. Super nice place with a jacuzzi also with full glass view to stars ànd valley. Super clean ànd great host. Totally recommend this place. Can’t wait to come Back. Breathtaking is an understatement.

This hotel is located within a reserve with hiking trails and gardens where you can see hummingbirds and many other species. The guided hikes were also excellent. The rooms were comfortable. The restaurant was good and reasonably priced.

This little hotel is very beautiful and well maintained. Every room has a gorgeous view. You could sit on a small terrace in front of your room. The breakfast was simple but very good. It was served on a big terrace overlooking San Isidro de El General. The flora and fauna around the hotel was awesome. The staff was super nice and attended to all our needs immediately. Getting to the parking lot is a little tricky, because you have to go down a steep hill. But it is manageable.

A beautiful and classic hotel. From the reception to the room, everything felt warm, cozy and comforting. The food at the restaurant was amazing, and the staff was welcoming and polite.

I was traveling through the Central Valley when I tripped and broke my ankle. I needed a place to stay after seeing the doctor for my first consultation My Dr. recommended Vista Canyon Inn and what a fabulous recommendation that was. They arranged for transportation to the Dr.s Office and then to the hospital for my out patient surgery. and picked me up after surgery. Thrilled they had room for me the next night. This place is Heaven on Earth. The staff, rooms, facilities, and breakfast were fabulous. Plus, they arranged for me to have a lovely room that was easily accessible on the first floor close to the dining area and Lobby.

Set in a residential area, next to Costa Rica Country Club, Apartotel & Suites Villas del Rio features 2 outdoor pools, a hot tub and gym. A free airport shuttle service is offered. We liked it a lot because it was close to the places we wanted to visit, and also the hotel was very nice! The only thing that wasn't good was the pool, it was very cold.
