Built in 1915 and representing an important part of the historical heritage of Lausanne, the Lausanne Palace is an elegant 5-star hotel in the heart of the business and shopping district. Very clean and comfortable, staff was very gracious. Nice views over the lake (if you book a lake view room), nice spa. We didn't try the breakfast as we're not big on breakfast so for us the CHF 45 a head seemed steep. Very comfortable beds and furniture. Complimentary assortment of drinks in the room. We had a suite for us and two kids, the extra beds for the kids are proper beds that were very comfortable not a fold out sofa. Room size was 50+m2 so still spacious even with 4

There was nice places to walk around following the coast of lake. was so hospitable and welcoming.

The majestic Victoria Hotel can be found in Glion above Montreux (connected by funicular) and is renowned for its breathtaking views of Lake Geneva and the snow-capped Alps. The room and bathroom were vary spacious and we got some fruits as a welcome. The breakfast was amazing! The fitness area, with gym machines, sauna and jacuzzi is also pretty cool. The best with the hotel is the view of the Alps though. The staff was also extremely friendly.
