This is an incredible place, fully private villas, great service and amazing cleanliness. We booked 2 villas: one for us and one for our son with a family with a baby. Everyone was delighted. Yes, it is expensive. But it is worth it.

The apartment is surrounded by apple trees. There was a welcome apple juice and also he baked bread for us , thank you Sebastian, you made it like home.

Gasthof zur Post is a family-owned hotel situated directly opposite the Danube River in Erlau. Set among green hills and forests, the hotel is close to scenic hiking trails and bike paths. This was a great place to stay. I got a nice balcony with view to Donau. Very friendly people working there too and a great brekfast. Highly recommended!

There was also friendly free shuttle service that took us to and from the Geinberg train station as well as for the restaurant at dinner time. Rooms are very spacious complete with ammenities.
