We had a fantastic time at Valter & Dritas and found it to be great value! It is located in the hills, just above Theth and provides stunning views of the valley. A peaceful and tranquil environment to relax in. The guesthouse is run by the family, who are excellent hosts and very genuine lovely people. They provided breakfast and dinner throughout our time there, which was home cooked and delicious. There was a good range of food available and we enjoyed slowly exploring the menu during our time there. We had 3 full days in Theth, during which we hiked the Valbona Pass, Blue Eye Kaprre and Grunas waterfall. Valbona Pass, is a tough but stunning walk which is well worth the effort. The Blue Eye was excellent too, the water was crisp and refreshing, the perfect respite from the Albanian heat. This walk is deceptively challenging and we’d recommend getting a taxi to the drop off location. Grunas waterfall was a fun hike and slightly less demanding after the other hikes. They have fresh spring water at the guesthouse which is safe to drink, so no need to bring bottled water with you. There are cute dogs, cats and chickens around the residence. If you like to sleep in, I’d bring ear plugs as the cockerels do their thing in the mornings. Overall, we had a great time. Whether you are looking for exciting and challenging hikes around the Albanian Alps or just want to unwind and relax in the hills.

Linda and Marco are wonderful. We stayed two nights at Hotel Villa Linda and it was amazing. The room with the jacuzzi was super comfortable, and the jacuzzi itself was fantastic. We were able to order a pizza and enjoy the wine made by Linda and Marco. We truly felt at home. The villa is very beautiful, with a lovely garden, and the homemade breakfast is great! We were only planning to stay one night, but ended up staying two. Without a doubt, it’s a place we would return to! The hotel is just 10 minutes by car from Shkodra and around 2 hours from Theth. A great base to explore the area. Thank you, Linda and Marco, for making us feel at home!

Menawarkan pemandangan bandar, Alex's House Shirokë di Shkodër mempunyai penginapan, taman, teres, restoran dan bar. The campers were so adorable, and everything was very nice and comfortable. Our hosts were exceptional, with an amazing breakfast each morning and one night we had dinner as well, it was delicious. Everything was local, with homemade jam, bread, and other produce. The location is amazing, the road it is on has a nice path for biking or walking. A bit of a drive down the road is Shiroka town, and access to swimming on the lake. We had an amazing stay, and wish we were there longer. I would highly recommend and would stay again. It is a short drive into Shkoder, and very quiet.

Very clean, high quality and absolutely the best. Very private, the location is up on the mountain with mesmerizing views. The kitchen had an electric/gas stove and plenty of dishes. We were a couple and was great. It’s a great place for couples! The staff was very friendly, welcoming and prompt every time we contacted or had a request. I have been traveling and have seen a lot of different properties and different kind of staff for many years now, and this property deserves a 10/10. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The best stay!

The location was great — right next to the departure point for the Shala River boat tour. The cabin was pleasant, though a bit small. Breakfast was limited, with a modest selection.
