The owner was absolutely amazing—friendly, outgoing, and incredibly thoughtful. He personally picked us up from the bus stop without us even asking, and gave us the best room available. Our room had two balconies, with the main one facing the road and offering a direct view of the stunning Gjirokastër Castle. The architecture of the hotel was top-notch—elegant design with beautiful rooms and 5-star facilities. On arrival, we were treated to complimentary drinks, including a special local Gjirokastër drink, which was such a nice touch. What really stood out was the owner’s genuine care—he even came late at night just to bring us water when he thought we might not have any. That level of hospitality is rare and unforgettable. Truly a perfect stay. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Gjirokastër!

Good communication, friendly host who helped us to reach the property by explaining which bus to take from bus station. Perfect location,amazing view. The room was super clean. The best place we have stayed so far in Albania. Highly recommend.

The house is located in a strategic location, near the bazar and the castle(within walking distance). There is Free Parking, Free Wifi, Air-conditioning, washing machine, and fully equipped kitchen. There is also a big balcony with a fantastic views. Jona's parents are so gentle and respectful. They showed us the true Albanian Hospitality. They take care of all details from start to end. Overall, the house ambience gives you a feeling of the old nice times, along with gentle family. Definitely we will book there again. Highly Highly recommended.

Vila Antigonea terletak di Gjirokastër dan menawarkan taman dan kemudahan barbeku. A very quiet, spacious, clean apartment with good facilities in a fantastic location with an amazing host who went out of his way to make us feel welcome and at home. Very close to Gjirokastër and a short drive to the supermarket, lots of hiking and sights in the local area. Not forgetting the friendly cat of course. Next time we will come for longer, thanks Shpati for a great experience!
