Very clean, nice location and the lady in the reception (I am sorry I can’t remember the name) is one of the nicest person we met in Japan. We asked for food recommendations and she ended up walking with us to a local Izakaya and helped talk to the people there. Very nice and helpful. Thank you, once again!

The hotel is very close to the Hiroshima station, less than 100m to walk from the Shinkansen tracks. The room (Deluxe with king size bed) is amazing, very large (27m²! Bigger than many parisian flats), never seen that much space in a hotel room, especially here in Japan. The bed was oversize and luxury, the tv has channels as TheCinema with international movies H24 (not mandatory but it is a plus when you are still jet lagging), the bathroom was great too and the view was nice. SPA center is incredible, the pool is big enough to swim, the jaccuzzi very nice, and the space for sauna/hammam perfect. There is a konbini at the foot of the hotel (as usual) and a okonomiyaki and a wonderful sushi restaurant also. All of that for a very competitive price !

It was a fantastic, truly authentic place to stay. My partner and I were hesitant as we'd never been to Japan or stayed in a ryokan, however the old wood had the aroma of a sauna, the beds were comfy, the lighting, decoration and interior design were all fantastic. Would highly recommend to everyone.

Probably a stand-out as part of our trip, room was exceptional, super comfortable and the amenities were next level. The location was the best by far, about 100-200 metres from the main station, but good ambient noise.

My family rated this the best property we had stayed in throughout Japan. Super location right next to the station and the layout and facilities really worked for us. Super clean and well equipped.

The room was very clean, spacious by Japanese standards, and offered serene traditional atmosphere blended seamlessly with modern conforms. There was a terrace with a beautiful view adding on to the comfort of the room. The dinner was traditional Japanese-style and for sure it should not be missed! The multi-course kaiseki meal was beautifully presented and very delicious, including fresh, local, seasonal ingredients. The hotel's location is good for visiting the Itsukushima Torii (Water gate) as it is just one station away from it but at the same time away from the madness of the island.

the ryokan has a fantastic location in Hiroshima, I would say the best in Hiroshima. We got a room with Dome-view and it was so very beautiful! The staff are very nice and helpful. we really enjoyed staying in this ryokan and would love to come back one day.

Everything was first class. TV in the spa tub. Large screen TV in the bedroom. Coffee table and couch. Fridge, microwave. All toiletries and more. Auto light in toilet. Dimming lights in main room. Extra large bed and excellent air con. Japanese breakfast for very small charge absolutely excellent and not to be missed.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! While the facilities are a bit dated, they're clean and comfortable—especially the spa, which is exceptional for the price. I even forgot my headphones at the hotel, and the staff went above and beyond to find them and send them to me by mail. Absolutely recommended!
