There is a lot to say why a stay at Arotron Santorini is more than worth the money! First of all, Nadia, George and the whole team are lovely and they do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. They help with everything you need, rental car, restaurant recommendations, etc.. The Rooms: We stayed in the Honeymoon Suite for 7 days and I guess it’s more than fair in saying: you simply can’t get more for the price at Santorini! When you book a hotel for your holidays you hope everything is like you see it on the pictures…at Arotron you actually will be impressed as it looks even better when you are there! Very clean, very spacious inside and outside and you can enjoy a great private pool. The interior is very stylish and new but also with a typical greek touch, giving attention to detail. The Parking: At Santorini parking lots, proper parking lots are quite rare. You don’t have any problems at Arotron as it provides a huge and nice parking space with only a few steps to your room. The Breakfast: Included in the booking fee and more than you need. Everybody will find something and it’s delicious! The booking of the breakfast is pretty easy, you can just order it via WhatsApp. And if you forget, Nadia will send you a reminder ;) you also have the chance to order some bites during the day when you decide to stay at your private pool for a very reasonable price. The Town Pyrgos: Amazing! A little town and the centre is only 5min away by feet. There are a lot of nice restaurants and bars and you will find that typical Santorini flair in the small alleys. PS: there are so many nice spots where you can see a better sunset than in crowded Oia ;) Long story short: You won’t regret your stay at Arotron Santorini, it’s the opposite, you will be pretty sad when you need to leave from there. It’s simply a great place to stay and the warmth of the whole team makes you feel like home.

Loved staying in pygros, it’s a small, quiet township with restaurants/shops away from the crowds. The spa pool and terrace were amazing. Breakfast was good. The bed and room were lovely and comfy. We were able to store our bags after check out.

Absolutely everything!! We have stayd at many international 5 star hotell, but this was different! Beeing a relatively small hotell, we got to know staff by their first names. And the frendliness and service they showed us, was simply outstanding!! Everyone, from the nice lady that made up our room, the very friendly front desk staff, and not to mention Stefanos and Gyros who served breakfast, lunch and waited the bar!! The food was excellent, both for breakfast and lunch, and the restaurants they proposed for dinner were also unbelivably good, and with stunning views. They always got us one of the most attractive tables. This was only my first holliday in Greece. But the whole Island seems to consist of service minded, friendly and smiling people. We are definitely going back. My son and daughter in law are also going next year. I have only one thing to add: BRAVO Alleys!!😎

Everything. 2 br 2 bathroom villa. Huge space, comfortable beds. Private terrace, don’t need to go anywhere to watch sunset. They provided a bottle of rose, enjoyed. Theodosia and her family and staff were the kindest, warmest hosts we’ve ever had. They are from Pygros. There was a story behind the name of the resort. It's a special place, all the stone work, infinity pool, sun beds, umbrellas. Drove to Perissa beach, black sand, not crowded at all. Would recommend and stay here again.

This villa was absolutely outstanding. The location of the villa is perfection. It’s right in the village with easy access to local restaurants and shops. Pyrgos provides a lovely quaint quiet contrast to the business of Oia and Fira. The villa was clean, extremely spacious, with modern conveniences and thoughtful stylish design touches throughout, yet maintained a traditional charm. The villa facilities and amenities were great with included washing machine and drying hanger. The views looking out from all the windows of the villa were beautiful. The rooftop sunsets overlooking all of Santorini were absolutely otherworldly. The size of the rooftop area is massive and is the size of the entire footprint of the villa. It’s truely an impressive rooftop. Do not miss sunsets on the rooftop each night, you cannot beat the experience. I note in previous reviews some negative comments about having to walk up to access the villa from the carpark, as the villa it is located in a pedestrian only zone away from the car parking area. That is correct, but is not a problem, as totally adds to the charm of the villa and its wonderful location. The jacuzzi was very clean and warm with a gorgeous view across the village and out across Santorini island. We stayed for only 3 nights and it was definitely not enough. It is such an incredible exquisite property and village and absolutely deserves stays of at least 3 or more days to fully immerse yourself in all the glories of the villa and Pyrgos village. We stayed in Greece for 3 weeks including luxury villas in Oia on the caldera in between the two blue domes, and we still all agree that overall, Pyrgos Terrace Villa was our favourite villa of our entire stay in Greece. It’s a must to discover Pyrgos town and get lost in its gorgeous alleyways and streets which are quiet, relaxed, charming and truely beautiful. Elizabeth the host provided exemplary service and was always so kind and helpful and organised anything we needed.

Both my wife and I were delighted with our five-night stay at Alaya Suites in September. Everything suited us perfectly. Our large, lightly furnished suite with its numerous windows, white walls and high ceilings felt just right for absorbing the timeless beauty of Santorini and the charm of Pyrgos. From our own roof terrace we could see the sea and the islands to the east and to the southwest; we also had a "postcard" view of the sunset. All the modern comforts were assured -- from very good WiFi to a very large and comfortable bed. The kitchen was well equipped (though it may lack some of the pots and tools needed for serious cooking). In any event there are many good restaurants and cafés that can be reached on foot in just a few minutes. Our suite, which was very nicely serviced every day, even had its own large (outdoor) jacuzzi -- as well as sunbeds and an outdoor table and chairs. For us, the location was ideal: Fira and Oia to the north, Akrotiri to the south, the airport to the east and the ferry port to the west. Moreover, hiking paths 1 and 2 actually pass through Pyrgos. We especially appreciated the services and advice of the management and staff of Alaya Suites. They not only greatly facilitated our transfer from the ferry port to the hotel and our transfer from the hotel to the airport but also provided suggestions as to where to go and how to get there.

It was absolutely stunning, a really special find. I couldn't believe how beautiful it was inside and out. The view is unreal and it was incredible sitting in the hot tub looking out with such a panoramic view. I was also well looked after by Michaela & Sakis. Nothing was too much for them & I was always greeting with such a beautiful smile. They both went over and beyond and they were so lovely!

Valsamo Suites completely blew us away. Tucked between two iconic blue domed churches in Pyrgos, it feels like a secret spot you’re lucky to discover. The whole place is stunning—the design is simple and beautiful, and the plush, cloud-like bed was honestly one of the comfiest we’ve ever slept in. You can really tell how much care and love went into every detail. We loved soaking in the hot tub and watching the sky change colors over the village rooftops. Peaceful, stylish, and just really special.

    Excellent accommodation in the lovely village of Pyrgos. Everything was superb, especially the outdoor area with refreshing private pool and heated spa. Easy walking to good restaurants, and centrally placed on the island for exploring. The breakfast and snacks in the sky lounge (approx 5 mins away by car) were wonderful, all freshly cooked and made by the fabulous staff. We were welcomed with open arms and made to feel relaxed and spoiled.

    The personnel was adorable, really caring and available for any request. The room was comfortable and spacious, beautifully furnished, and the terrace was amazing, we took our breakfast there every morning. The jacuzzi was a real plus for relaxing and watching the sunset.
