The host met us on arrival, which I am sure is not in any way convenient for them at notice but they are more than happy to do so anyway. The property is close to restaurants and pubs in the town centre, and it is possible to start hill walks from this location too. The hosts kindly provided milk, coffee and teabags.

    Beautiful property with views to match. Big bed with wonderful bedding. A large bathroom with high powered shower and a stand alone bath tub with a view. Plenty of outdoor area to sit and enjoy the quiet. Access to a hot tub was a bonus. Great value for money. A real escape to the country.

    Beautiful spa facilities however, it was very noisy with children playing in the pools so not much relaxation in terms of peace and tranquility. The rooms appear to have been updated however, a few more attention to detail in the bathroom in regards to cleaning of the skirting boards.

    Amazing views and scenery, it felt very relaxing. Hotel room was clean and refurbished, big comfy bed. Was grateful for the ceiling fan as the weather was hot. The spa was amazing, outdoor pool was our favourite part, romantic sunset views from the pool.
