Friendly staff, ready to solve problems (we arrived late and needed a razor and a shoehorn), good and varied breakfast, convenient location. I would like to separately note the presence of a bathtub in the bathroom - guys, in this region this is a very necessary and pleasant thing!

The staff were fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. Great location just outside the town but with only a 10 minute walk. Just around the corner from the famous waterfall and a superb steak restaurant. Parking in the basement was a real bonus given the snow and ice. Didn't try the restaurant but the bar was great. Good buffet breakfast.

The family-run hotel offers panoramic mountain views, an indoor swimming pool and a traditional restaurant.

Very clean, comfortable, tasty and rich breakfast options. Surprise - reserved, nicely decorated table for breakfast for my birthday // didn't expect this. Swimming pool and sauna in the house. Just come and enjoy. Easy to get by car to different objects to see in all directions, that was perfect for us. Various entertainment options for smaller children (play room, outside children playground). Real hotel for family not only in words, but in all actions, a lot of families were there to enjoy this, never seen hotel like this before. All the best!

The room was large, comfortable, quiet and with nice furniture and decoration. The bed was really good. The bathroom was big and nice, although we took some time to find the way to lower a curtain which closed the view of the bathroom from the rest of the room. The location was convenient, and the parking place closeby and not too expensive. Breakfast was excellent. The staff, apparently made of a single lady not always on the premises (but we were definitely during the off-season), was extremely nice and friendly. Everything worked OK.

Hotel Weinbauer is a traditional hotel peacefully and central located in Schwangau, 1.5 km from Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau Castles. Built in 1865, the cosy hotel is decorated with frescoes.

This place was absolute perfection. I had probably their most basic room, as a solo traveller I booked the single, but it wasn’t basic by any means. Clean, fresh looking, lots of storage, comfortable bed, fantastic shower and bathroom. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they changed my blankets and pillows immediately as forgot to request no feathers, they gave me a kettle to make tea in my room. Free breakfast which was delicious and extensive. As for the location, it couldn’t have been better. View from the lounge room of both castles and the mountains. Opposite a supermarket. I could go on and on, this place was an amazing find. Also considering I stayed of NYE I couldn’t get over how cheap it was. 100/10
