Just 2 minutes’ walk from Lake Taupo, Acapulco Motor Inn offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen satellite TV and a DVD player. Breakfast was good but they cleared the buffet away to early.

Located in central Matamata, 20 minutes' drive from the Hobbiton movie set, Horse and Jockey Inn offers 50 MB of free Wi-Fi. We didn’t have breakfast there was out of our budget, the location I was awesome wasn’t far away from where our children were, was close to countdown too so that was a bonus, met some good people there too.
