I am so perplexed by how much I enjoyed this stay. The photos looked so unassuming and like it was a makeshift accommodation (sorry, Brakkebo team!). My room had stellar views and a family with a kid was put next door, which made me feel a bit concerned about noise. I NEVER HEARD A THING from my room. I was so shocked at how soundproof the units were. Everything was impeccably clean and the kitchen was fully equipped. I have stayed at thousands of places over the years, and this was one of my favorite stays due to the views and how friendly the woman working there was. Highly recommend staying here in Gamvik!

Located in Karigasniemi, Hotel Guossi offers a restaurant and karaoke bar. The Inarijoki River marks the Finland-Norway border and can be crossed within 1 km from the property. We absolutely loved our stay! We've visited this hotel on the way to North Cape, and we decided to book it again on the way back. 1) Location is very convenient, 1 day of drive from North Cape 2) Hotel looks a bit old from outside, but inside it was recently renovated and rooms are super comfortable. 3) Sleep was amazing - very quiet, good mattress. Bathroom is very modern and has everything. 4) We mentioned that we travel with a baby, and they have prepared for us a crib with super warm and cute sleep bag. 5) Hotel has restaurant, breakfast is free, but they also have lunch and dinner for additional fee, which is very convenient in such a remote area
