They were very kind and accommodating. The best part of our apartment was the massive balcony that was great for relaxing after a beach day. Right beside the building there is a grocery store and a bakery. The property is a 5 min walk away from the beach front walk way. However, it is important to note that Herceg Novi is very hilly and that distance in the city can be very misleading. Ancora Hotel is about 50 meters away from the beach and we agreed we wouldn’t pick a property any further into the hill than 50 meters. Also, the property is about a 15 minute walk from the old town and all of the hustle and bustle.

Guests can enjoy an on-site coffe and champagne bar. Free WiFi is provided. Great location. Staff was super friendly and professional. Also helpful with suggestions for restaurants and activities. Great breakfast outside on a nice location. The new rooms were very nice with very comfortable beds.

The property is non-smoking and is set 7.5 km from Salona Archeological Park. An amazing place to stay, you will not regret it. Built into the ruins of a castle, the interior is beautiful. There were 8 of us so we had the run of the place, but I suspect it would be just as great if you only had one room. There were a few good markets and cafes along with at least one great restaurant in walking distance.
