The West Port Hotel is a traditional Scottish pub and restaurant in the historic town of Linlithgow, West Lothian. It offers en suite rooms with satellite TVs and free Wi-Fi. Over 3 mornings, full and small Scottish breakfast, copious and cooked well. Croissants flaky & delicious. We also enjoyed the lunch and dinner we had there, veg/vegan included.

Set in the village of Roslin, The Original Rosslyn Inn is an idyllic village inn, just 8 miles from Edinburgh’s city centre. This family-run property has a traditional pub and a fine dining... The a la carte breakfast menu was amazing :) The room we were given was absolutely a treat; very spacious, lots of natural light and a very cosy four poster bed with heavy drapes and matching curtains !!

The Laird And Dog is located in the Midlothian village of Lasswade, 15 minutes’ drive from Edinburgh. It offers a conservatory-style restaurant, rooms with free Wi-Fi and free parking. The staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for us to make our stay more enjoyable.
