This family resort is in St-Alexis-des-Monts, Quebec, on à-l'Eau Claire Lake. It offers kayak and rowboat rentals, hiking and mountain biking trails, and on-site dining. Everything, it was for my brother they celebrate their wedding ! The staff from the reception to the dinning hall, staff from the bar was perfect, so kind, polite, and they wanted to make us very satisfied. We want to go back in summer !

We were done with our visit in Montreal and booked an accommodation close in nature. After the hectic city, we were greeted with this cozy 'auberge' that served amazing wine and food, whilst having an incredible view over the lake. The eight course diner and accompanying wines were perfectly combined. We booked 2 hours before arriving and were given a room with lake view. The room, with its amazing view, can only be described as luxurious. Would definitely recommend this experience to everybody.

The personal is very kind: they provided us a breakfast also without the booking according the timing stated in the instruction.

Perched along the scenic St. Maurice River in the vibrant heart of downtown Shawinigan, Hôtel Énergie Shawinigan seamlessly combines comfort, convenience, and accessibility. Room was huge, with a kitchen. We were glad there were laundry facilities. It’s right by the river, so great for walking, running and sightseeing. Big parking lot too.
