The Tasmanian Inn is located in Hobart, 800 m from Theatre Royal and less than 1km from the waterfront. Walk to Salamanca Market on Saturday in 20 minutes. The STAFF!!!! They are so friendly and helpful!!! The Inn has a historic value, but my room also had modern touches and had clearly been upgraded. I loved how large the shower rooms are. The food from the restaurant is delicious and the tavern has a nice happy hour.

Built in the 1840s, the refurbished Comfort Inn The Pier Hotel offers a private beach area, a bar and a restaurant. All rooms offer sea views and a flat-screen TV. We loved the location right on the river. We could walk into town along the riverbank. We had dinner at the hotel - very good. Room was spacious and comfortable.
