The room decoration would beautiful! Lovely spacious room and wonderful en-suite bathroom with a big bathtub. Supplied full sized local toiletries which smelled amazing, which can be purchased from reception to take home. Bed was very big and very comfortable. A Continental breakfast was delivered every morning with a variety of fruits, yoghurt and granola and pastry with butter and jams as well as fresh fruit juice. Very lovely selection and enjoyed having breakfast in bed each morning. The location is perfect, lots of local great pubs and restaurants within a few minutes walking distance and great for walking to all the big attractions (within 15 minutes)

Just 4 miles from Bath, The Wheatsheaf Combe Hay is a West Country inn dating back to the 1500s.

Location a little tucked away but beautiful area. Fabulous modern room with lots of character added. Loved the tuck box in the room and doggy bowl and towels outside door. Lovely thoughtful touches… magazines available too. Will avail myself of these when I’m able to come back…shame it was a flying visit this time. Staff lovely and breakfast was excellent. Great parking included.

Perfect location to drive to and then take the bus (Park+Ride) to Bath so no issue driving into Bath. Breakfast is included and apart from yoghurt, fruit and small items, you can order something from their breakfast menu as well! What a treat. It's nice that you can have dinner here most nights as well. The staff were super helpful and always with smiling!

Everything was lovely! The room was small but very comfortable, exactly as described, with everything we needed for a short stay. It's right in the center, so very easy to get there and from there to wherever we were going. Despite being in the center, it was very quiet at night. The pub had good food and vibes, the staff was super nice and the breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend.

Beautiful pub with rooms. Very handy for Bath but also gorgeous in its own right. it on the river where there was rowing in the early morning and stand up paddle boarding in the afternoon (hire place right there in the pub garden). Super comfortable bed. Gorgeous bathroom with a copper slipper bath and a monsoon shower. Lovely balcony with swing chair and a part of Adirondack chairs and tab. Fab breakfast in the morning with a whole honeycomb in a rack to cut pieces from along with fruit, yoghurt, cereal, pastries and all manner of cooked things available too. Just lovely all round.

The Bear in Bath offers luxurious accommodation in addition to its relaxing restaurant and bar.
