Enjoy your evenings having a braai on the covered deck while gazing at the amazing stars in the karoo night sky with the elusive black backed jackal calling in the distance. During those chilly winter nights enjoy a glass of Montagu muskadel in front of the wood fired stove . Take a hike into the veld and amaze yourself at all the karoo flowers and succulents. For the energetic take a hike up the mountain and enjoy the breathtaking views of Montagu in the distance or ride your mountain bike up the 4x4 trail. Die Botterboom huisie is echo friendly and totally off the grid and only has 12 volt power as well as charging points for your cell phone, laptop or tablet.
