Also known as VOETPLAAT PARK, this is a perfectly located beachfront resort, stroll out of your unit and in no time find yourself on our beautiful, unspoiled Blue Flag Beach. Relax in the balmy sea water of the tidal pool or enjoy the exhilaration of the waves in the warm Indian Ocean, reassured by the presence of the life guards on duty. This is undoubtedly one of the best located coastal resorts in South Africa where you can indulge in the beauty and peace that our virtually private beach offers. On site you will find Orca's Restaurant which offers good pub grub all day long and ice cold drinks. There is also a well stocked convenience store for your daily essentials. The resort also boasts a lovely pool area, games room and small conference venue. For the campers we have a beautifully appointed caravan park with most of the sites sporting private ablutions and kitchen facilities.
Barry and De Wet have recently acquired this resort and it is their intention to dramatically improve the current offering by doing extensive renovations to the existing accommodation. This friendly couple have over 30 years experience in the hospitality industry and their mission is simple: HAPPY GUESTS MAKING UNFORGETTABLE MEMORIES.
Only an hour South of Durban makes this a quick drive and the resort is easily accessible from the main road, so no chance of loosing your way. Port Shepstone is10 minutes South of THE PALMS and the famous Oribi Gorge is a half hour drive away. Great restaurants abound along this part of he coast and if fine dining appeals to you make sure to book at The Cellar in Umtentweni, a short drive from the resort.
