Welcome to our peaceful retreat STONY PLACE to enjoy quality holiday time in our indigenous garden overlooking Long Beach and nestled in the valley of the mountain. Comfy accommodation, fresh white cotton linen, well equipped kitchenette including full sized fridge/freezer. En suite spacious bathroom with shower and oval bath under thatch. Hot and cold outdoor shower too. Retire at night to the sound of the Cape and/or Spotted Eagle Owls or fiery-necked nightjar and wake up to the sight of hadedahs feasting in the garden. We look forward to sharing our piece of Cape paradise with you. Secure garden and off road parking, and unfenced pool. Resident and well socialised husky, and border collie cross. Tea and plunger coffee always available, and breakfast on request over weekends. Braai facility, and home cooked meals and late night coffee treats also available on request. Woollies close by, also restaurant deliveries. Happy to assist with pre-arrival basic or luxury groceries for your enjoyment and to suit your need.

Our dream guest house finally happened during lockdown and we look forward to welcoming and hosting you at Stony Place. We are nature and outdoor lovers and enjoy the opportunity to be out there whenever possible. We have spent many holidays in the bush and travelling in our own country to some rather remote spots. Still lots more to be discovered. For now we are pleased to make a stay possible for you in our special neck of the woods.

Head out to our beaches for a swim and surf, or into our mountains for a run, walk or cycle, or Silvermine Dam for a refreshing swim. Or golf at Clovelly! Then back to Stony Place for a hot or cold outdoor shower or cold swim. Many restaurants/pubs all around in Noordhoek, Kommetjie and Scarborough. Capri Village is removed from any shops and nestles in the valley of the mountain, sunny and north facing with magnificent Atlantic sunsets. Safe to stroll around until well into the evening. Very little traffic and pleasantly undulating! Perfectly positioned for running and cycling endurance training with magnificent scenery from our doorstep. Long circular routes and reliable seconding on request. Special hosting available for annual Argus Cape Town cycle tour and Two Ocean marathon. 45 kms from Cape Town International Airport (45 minute drive) and 40 kms from the Waterfront. 6-8 kms from both Fish Hoek and Kommetjie beaches. Mountains on our doorstep. Cape Point Vineyards very close by in Noordhoek and the famous Chapman's Peak Drive taking you to Hout Bay. 25 kms from Cape Point Nature Reserve and 15 kms from the Boulders Beach penguins.
