Whispering Waves Villa is a spacious holiday home with its own private garden with pool and parking facilities. Situated in the quiet and green neighborhood of Freeland Park, Scottburgh. In April 2025, the house received much-needed TLC: all rooms were repainted, thoroughly cleaned, and made more cozy and comfortable Boasting panoramic sea views from most areas of the house, you can watch the changing ocean and sky every minute of the day. This lovely self-catering home sleeps 10 people in five bedrooms and four bathrooms. One room with a queen bed and ensuite bathroom, one room with a double bed and ensuite bathroom, 1 room with a king size bed and 2 rooms with 2 x single beds. These rooms have access to a bathroom with shower, bathroom with bath and a separate toilet al situated in the hallway. There is a kitchen, dining area, living room, sunroom and study. The sunroom doors open up onto the deck and patio with swimming pool. There is a double car garage and outside parking for another 3 cars on the premises Whispering Waves Villa is the house for people that would like to have a quiet ane peaceful get together or would like to explore the area and engage in sport activities. The house has enough storage space for bikes, golf gear, surf boards etc. It is also very suitable for business clients. From the house it is a 5-minute drive to Scottburgh main beach, shops and restaurants and a 3 minute drive to the N2. Please note that Whispering Waves does not accept any kind of parties, loud music and animals on the premises. Any violation of these rules is reason for immediate removal of the premises.

The house is owned since October 2024 by a Dutch couple Richard and Miranda. Whenever they have time, they will come and visit South Africa. They decided to open their house to others so that guests can be able to experience the beauty the South Coast has to offer. Their lovely housekeeper Gilly and gardener/maintenance man Moses are helping to keep the property maintained. The couple that is managing the bookings and are there in case of any issues are Sander and Kim who live next door. Sander and Kim have more then 20 Years of experience in the hospitality industry.

Freeland Park is a very green, family friendly neighborhood, where the residents care about each other and their environment. There is an active community and due to the commitment of several residents this neighborhood has 24/7 security, 33 cameras under control room supervision and they organized their own street signs. Freeland Park is a suburb of the town of Scottburgh. It is in the Municipality of Umdoni and the beginning of the KZN South Coast. Freeland Park is bounded by the N2 freeway, the Amahhongwa River, the R102 (old main road) and the Dududu Road between the R102 and the N2. One appeal of Scottburgh is its main beach with its grass-covered banks leading down to sandy beaches, which have made it a popular destination for holidaymakers for many years. It is also particularly renowned for its large surfing community. Popular spots include Scottburgh, Rocky Bay, Green Point and Pennington. There is so much to do for the active person. There are golf courses, mountain bike, running and hiking trails. Aliwal Shoal is a well know reef perfect to explore the underwater world. You can go diving, snorkeling and fishing in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean. Visit Croc World, Vernon Crooks nature reserve and Oribi Gorge for a dose of wildlife. But a lovely walk or lazy day on one of the beaches is possible too.
