Karoo Secret offers a peaceful and tranquil farm stay where you can contribute to a unique life style away from the hustle and bustle of the city. You live in the present. There are lots of mapped walks to explore including including watching a stunning Karoo sunset. For the cycling enthusiasts we have mapped 10km, 20km and 30km jeep track routes to ride.A highlight is the night route cycling under the stars. After a busy day in nature, you can relax and enjoy the magnificent mountain view or have a traditional braai on our stoep. Our house boasts 4 rooms,3 en suite decorated to charm you.
We are here to make your stay memorable and enjoyable. Home cooked meals , braai packs and treats by prior arrangement are available.
We are a convenient half way stop from Johannesburg to Cape town or to the southern coast. Karoo Secret is midway between Beaufort West and Graaff Reinet. You can explore the Karoo National Park outside Beaufort West or the Camdeboo National Park or the Valley of Desolation. Graaff Reinet . The award winning Drostdy Hotel charms our historic Graaff Reinet while Aberdeen has the highest church steeple and boasts biblical murals well worth viewing.
