This modern guest house offers a large garden with a terrace and outdoor pool with has views of the ocean and mountain. It is located 3km from both Hout Bay’s beach and harbour. All modern rooms have ocean or mountain views, and the property has free Wi-Fi throughout. The bright and elegant, spacious rooms at CUBE Guest House feature large windows and wooden flooring. Each has an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub and a shower. All rooms come with free WiFi, a flat-screen TV, a minibar, a Nespresso coffee machine, and some with an Apple digital receiver. Breakfast consisting of fresh homemade breads and preserves is served each day on the sun terrace adjacent to the heated pool. A number of restaurants serving a range of local and international cuisine can be found within 5 minutes’ drive of the property. Nearby attractions and activities include the beaches of Hout Bay and Llandudno, and hiking trails. The tour desk can assist in arranging excursions. Cape Town is a 20-minute drive by car, while Cape Town International Airport is 25 minutes' drive away.

Dirk Engelmann and Patrick Gott are your hosts at the CUBE Guest House: “Before taking our Golden Retriever Paul and moving from Hamburg to Cape Town in 2011, we have fallen in love with South Africa on numerous vacation trips within the last years. By opening the CUBE Guest House, a dream has come true.” In his “first” career, Dirk was working in the hotel sector and later as a marketing manager in the telecommunication business. Patrick was a directing manager in the entertainment sector and raising experience in catering, event management and marketing. During those times, both got passionate about good service and hospitality.

The CUBE Guest House offers six modern and homely furnished rooms in different levels of size and price. Most of them provide beautiful views and an own terrace. As a special accommodation, we have the Cottage available for an unique overnight stay. All rooms and suites are equipped with an en-suite bathroom, minibar, NESPRESSO coffee machine, flat screen TV, APPLE TV, WLAN and cell phone free of charge, safe and hairdryer. In some rooms we also provide air conditioning.

If you rather prefer the country side than the centre of Cape Town, Hout Bay is the perfect place: surrounded by green hillsides, Hout Bay is nestled in a valley opening out into a picturesque bay and small fishing port. Thanks to the central location, within a few minutes you can reach the city centre, Table Mountain, stunning sandy beaches, beautifully situated golf courses as well as Cape Town’s wine region. Furthermore, Hout Bay is the starting point for the famous corniche Chapman’s Peak Drive, which leads you right to the Cape of Good Hope.
