Nestled below the Swartkop Mountain range and Lake Heritage, lies Cradle Moon Lakeside Game Lodge, one of Gauteng’s best kept tourist attractions. Cradle Moon Lakeside Game lodge is situated only thirty minutes from Johannesburg and Pretoria, the Lodge is set in tranquil indigenous African Bushveld that offers local and international guests a unique African experience. The giraffe, zebra and springbok that roam the grounds freely add to the African feel of Cradle Moon Lakeside Game Lodge Guest accommodation consists of 50 2 bedroom thatched bungalows. Each Bungalow has a tea and coffee station. The en suite bathroom offers shower facilities. . Each bungalow has a veranda on which guests can enjoy their sundowners while watching a glorious African sunset. We do not have TV’s in our Bungalows, but you are welcome to join us in our TV Lounge. At the main lodge guests are able to enjoy delicious meal either on the patio or poolside under thatched umbrellas. Cradle Moon Lakeside Game Lodge also has a fully licensed African themed bar. Cradle Moon Lakeside Game Lodge and other portions of land surrounding Lake Heritage has formed part of a conservancy development called the Cradle Moon Conservancy. This exciting project is the dropping of fences between properties and the introduction of various wild animals. As is necessary in all Nature Conservancies, a nominal conservancy fee of R 30.00 is required per person at all participating establishments.
