We are Marco and Michelle Pellegrini, your hosts to welcome you to casa Ridge.Marco is a first generation Italian and is an Architect. His passions include ski boat and paddle ski angling,diving and travel. Michelle is an amateur chef who specialises in Italian and seafood cuisine.Her passions are sketching and painting, cooking and travelling with her family .Marco and Michelle are environmentally sensitive, having installed solar geysers, thermal glazing on all glass surfaces and harvesting rain water. They both love people and live life to the fullest. As a bonus Marco speaks fluent Italian.

Casa Ridge is nestled in the vibrant suburb of the most loved Umhlanga Rocks, Kwa Zulu Natal, South Africa. its within a very short distance of Umhlanga's exciting CBD and stunning Blue Flag beach. Our beautiful rooms are lovingly built and designed by my architect husband and and we have finished the rooms with the utmost luxury for our guests to enjoy. The property is fully walled with electric fencing and Ridge Road is security patrolled. Our property is fitted with an additional water storage and purification system operated by electricity so you do not get affected by water outages. Casa Ridge is the perfect hideaway, should you and your loved one need a private ,secluded getaway. It is also the perfect place for the business person who needs to relax and unwind after a stressful days meetings has come to an end. Casa Ridge is also the perfect home away from home for local and overseas visitors alike. We speak English , Italian and Afrikaans fluently. We love our home and are proud to call it a 'GREEN' facility. All geysers are solar powered and all rain water is harvested. A five minute stroll from Casa Ridge allows you to sit and picnic on Eastmore Beach - where you can watch the paddle ski anglers land their daily catches, as well as enjoying the Indian Ocean and Umhlanga's fine year round weather. A two minute drive takes you to Umhlanga"s Blue Flag bathing beach,which also hosts Dolphin viewing, ski boat angling,snorkelling and scuba diving.The main beach promenade walk is much loved and enjoyed by the locals and their furry friends as well as travellers from all round.Rock and surf angling is also available. A 2 minute drive also takes you to Umhlangas village, hosting a variety of top quality shops and supermarkets, as well as 50 top class eating houses and restaurants.
