As a former student of Northwest University I am proudly an ambassador for our lovely old town. The warmth and hospitality of the people and their open hearts makes this town one to be proud of. My love for traveling made me realise that there has to people that feel the same as I do and I therefore opened the Guest House to accommodate people from all walks of life. I absolutely enjoy every moment and have made many friend from all over the world.

Check In time: 14:00 till 19:00 Check out time: Strictly @ 10:00 am A Tapestry Garden was built as a Home for a family in 1925 when Potchefstroom was still a small town with lots of potential. The owner was a farmer-businessman and well loved by the community. His wife was the first music teacher in Potchefstroom and the had many a music night in this lovely old house. We bought the house from their grandson in 1979 and started with one Guest room in 1983. We are now blessed with full on Guesthouse.

We are in the Centre of Potchefstroom and 1Km from The local Police station. Our local markets with lovely food produce, handmade articles and crafts beers are 1 km from A Tapestry Garden.. Snowflake-market is open on the first weekend of the month and Rooy-market on the last weekend of the month.Vlooi -Mark is a lovely Antique shop 2 block from our Guesthouse where you will find many treasures.The Mooirivier shopping Mall is 1.5 km from us with lots of places where you can enjoy a lovely meal. Being in the CBD of Potchefstroom makes us a safe place to stay and in close proximity to all schools and sport facilities.
