Are the backwoods calling? Travel on an uneven gravel/dirt road to get up close and personal with nature. The cabin overlooks two wild brook trout rushing boulder creeks converging to one, plus a mountain ridge view! Let this forest hideaway bring tranquility or adventure for a couple's overnight or longer. We want our guests to feel the spirit of the area and the simplicity of life: unplug, enjoy the views and let the sounds of this unique “junction” melt the stress away. 2 miles from paved road, ALL vehicles need 5" clearance. NOT suitable for motorcycles. 1.2 mile of uneven gravel/dirt and potholes. No cell or WiFi. Use ONLY our directions!
We enjoyed sharing our little glamping cabin upstream, "The Owl's Perch" (#1867396), so we purchased "The Junction". We remodeled it, cleared the view and gave its name. We’d love to share either with you!

Experience "Tail of the Dragon/Deals Gap" (40 min), Santeetlah Lake (10 min), fish Snowbird Creek (20 min), Fontana Lake and dam (40 min), marinas for boat rentals (30 min), several waterfalls, hiking trails and overlooks, Stecoah Gap AT Trail and birding trail (40 min), Smoky Mountain National Park/Cades Cove entrance (2 hrs), Nantahala whitewater rafting (40 min), Cheoah rafting (30 min), Slingshot and motorcycle rentals (40 min), casinos (40 min), caves (2 hrs), and several artisan shops in the county.
