Originally from New Orleans, our family moved to California in 2005 and we have lived on the Peninsula since 2009. Set on a half-acre of fanciful gardens, our 1911 Craftsman bed and breakfast has fabulous views of Monterey Bay. Named after the Lewis Carroll poem Jabberwocky, the ambiance of our inn is light-hearted, warmly comfortable and decidedly upscale. In the evening, join us for wine and hors d'oeuvres on the enclosed sun porch. Here our guests mingle and discuss the day's trending topics and of course their dinner plans. Ready to settle in for the night, you'll find comfy and inviting historic beds with cozy sheets and down comforters. Three romantic rooms include Jacuzzi tubs and fireplaces. Wake up to a striking sunrise or perhaps the soft sounds of the bay muted by the morning marine layer. Fresh coffee and a scrumptious breakfast await you. Lively conversation and shared adventures make it easy to plan your day's journey.

The Jabberwock is five short blocks above John Steinbeck's Cannery Row. Visit Doc Rickett's Lab, the Monterey Bay Aquarium, or perhaps a wine tasting room. Old Fisherman's Wharf is just around the corner and there are over 25 restaurants in the area. The Monterey/Pacific Grove recreation trail, offers a wonderful walking, jogging, and biking path with stirring views of the bay and its marine life.
