Welcome to the charming Selle Valley Kataluma Inn; a cozy cabin in the woods. Well appointed cabin, removed from it all, immersed in natural beauty and abundant wildlife, with easy access to all the endless recreation that Northern Idaho has to offer. Nestled in the heart of the peaceful Selle Valley, the quaint retreat is approx. 7 miles from downtown Sandpoint as well as the Schweitzer shuttle and public Lake Pend Oreille access.

Our place is on the other side of the barn. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything or say high if we’re out and about. We enjoy meeting people traveling through but can also appreciate folks wanting some space.

Located in the heart of the Selle Valley north of Lake Pend Orielle. Less than 7 miles away from Sandpoint and the Schweitzer park and ride. Sandpoint sits at the base of Schweitzer Mountain Resort which boasts of both winter and summer recreation.  The town is located on the north shore of the breathtaking Lake Pend Orielle.  The Selle Valley is just Northeast of town, nestled between the Selkirk and Cabinet mountain ranges.  The Pack River snakes through the valley and is perfect for fishing and rafting on hot summer days.  The cabin is less than 6 miles away from the Idaho Club, one of the states most prestigious golf courses.  There are several close by options for lake access, including City Beach and Oden Bay. Other local attractions include the Cedar Street Bridge, Sandpoint Farmer’s Market, The Festival (summer music festival), boating, hiking, mountain biking, road biking, huckleberry picking, a U-Pick blueberry farm just down the road,  and a variety of seasonal farm-stands.  Sandpoint is just 45min from the Canadian border, 1hr from Coeur D’Alene, and 1 ½ hrs from the Spokane International Airport.
