A gorgeous scene awaits you at every turn, from banks of windows in the living room to the spacious deck out back. This two-story home sits on the oceanfront south of small-town Hancock (two miles north). It's a marvelous home base for exploring - secluded and rural, yet close to beloved attractions. You can easily explore Winter Harbor (18 miles) and the beautiful Schoodic Peninsula to the south, spend the day in majestic Acadia National Park (23 miles), or shop and dine your way through Bar Harbor (28 miles). Bask in the summer sunshine on the large deck - breathing in the salty sea air and watching boats pass through Mt. Desert Narrows. Sear some fresh local seafood on the gas grill and set the table for a sunset dinner outdoors. The interior is a showcase of the natural setting as well, with the ocean on display in the window-lined living room, the dining room, and all three bedrooms. Enjoy a spacious kitchen, both a living room and a den (with smart TVs) for after-dinner movie nights, and family-friendly conveniences that include a washer/dryer, a high chair, a booster seat, and baby gates. Complimentary WiFi is provided as well. Things to Know Streaming services are available with guests' own account credentials. Check-in time: 4:00 PM. Check-out time: 10:00 AM. All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
