Bobbie was born in Anchorage, Alaska, and in 1959, her family moved to the Soldotna Family Homestead, where our “Peaceful Acres” Cabins & Jackson Gardens Alaska are now located. Harold, originally from Arizona, made his way to Alaska in 1961, and together, we've built a life steeped in the beauty and bounty of the Kenai Peninsula. Our Peaceful Acres Cabins are nestled on 10 acres of flourishing fruit, vegetable, and flower gardens, making them a true haven in Soldotna, Alaska. What sets our property apart is the vibrant, organic farming we practice right here on-site. For halibut Ninilchik is 35 miles away, & Homer 70 miles . We have dedicated areas for fish cleaning, vacuum sealing & freezer space-PLEASE NOT IN CABINS. Located near our 10-acre ORGANIC U-Pick garden, offering a farm-to-table experience with berries, veg, & flowers. 6 steps required. 2 Full beds in a SHORT loft & a Futon with a memory foam mattress in bedroom on main floor by bathroom. Children Welcome! -NOTE: For very large tall men, we would recommend cabin 2 or 3 or Our Triplex! Cabins include free Wi-Fi, smart TV, Dish Network, room darkening shades, washer/dryer, porch, outdoor pellet grill etc. KITCHEN: Stove/oven, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, drip coffee maker, rice cooker, slow cooker,baking dishes, silverware, cooking knife set, bowls, dishes, glasses, wine glasses and 50 other cooking items. GENERAL: Complimentary toiletries, linens, towels, trash bags & paper towels Guest access: You are welcome to have friends come visit but we request no large events at your cabin to keep a quiet atmosphere for other guests.
