To the west, it is eight miles to the magnificent Fort Myers beaches on the gulf coast and to the causeway leading to Sanibel Island and Captiva. To the south, after an hour’s drive, you can be in the wildlife reserves of The Everglades. Find your own deserted beach to the north. Drive to Pine Island in an hour, take a boat to your own private beach and share it with colorful shells, fish, and curious seabirds. You can drive the 14 miles from Fort Myers International Airport to Wellington Lakes in 35 minutes where your luxurious home will be ready for you, family and friends. New Horizons is a four bedroomed private property situated in the quiet community of Wellington Lakes. It is a spacious villa, beautifully furnished as a family home with modern kitchen, Streaming TV, and Wi-Fi. Relax by the screened pool which faces south with a wide panorama across the lake or eat barbecued meals on the lanai which has sliding glass doors off the indoor sitting area and from the main bedroom to the side. About a mile from Wellington Lakes there is a shopping area with a quality supermarket. Half a mile further on there are more stores, bars, and restaurants. Towards Fort Myers Beach watch pelicans from the balcony of one of the many dockside seafood restaurants. For the younger visitors, there are lively bars and clubs with live music and dancing. There is something for everyone here from the keen shopper looking for fashion at one of the outlet stores to those who prefer to laze quietly and comfortably at New Horizons. Others can explore the creeks accompanied by dolphins, manatees, alligators, and birds.

No dog(s) are welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without specific Vacasa approval. This rental is located on floor 1. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle. 3 days notification is required in order to heat the pool. An optional fee of USD 40 per day is available to be paid prior to check-in. Guests can contact Vacasa after booking to purchase pool heat for your stay. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a damage waiver fee which covers you for up to 3,000 dollars of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out.
