The Jasmine House is a deluxe studio house with a full granite kitchen, Balinese decor, King bed, entertainment system, fireplace, front and back attached patios and a private landscaped garden with lily pond and exquisite statues. Enjoy your own private hot tub with an outdoor shower. At the end of the private landscape is a stunning ocean view deck wonderful for stargazing and sunrises. All of this sits on 7.5 acres of lush tropical beauty known as Hale Akua Garden Farm. Aside from the Jasmine House's private amenities, all guests of Hale Akua are welcome to enjoy our property amenities; 60-foot saltwater swimming pool with beautiful surroundings you can cool off or exercise in after exploring the many wonderful attractions Maui has to offer, a large viewing deck with hot tub and infra-red sauna that sits on the cliff-edge with a stunning oceanview and magical sunsets, beautifully manicured gardens perfect for meditation and access to our community farm fridge where you can purchase organic fruits and vegetables grown right here on our farm. Note: Please keep in mind, our center is a rustic compound in the middle of the jungle. We do have de-humidifiers and air purifiers in every room as well as air conditioning units for when it is hot. We are centered in a tropical rainforest with many weird and wonderful insect species. We only use natural pesticides and cleaning chemicals on the property. As a result, we occasionally have more animal visitors. These may include geckos, ants, flying cockroaches, centipedes, cane spiders, and mice. We are in their natural habitat, so we will not be able to refund any portion of your stay for these house guests.

This area of Haiku, called Huelo, is a rural area with the upcountry Maui jungle feel. We are about halfway to Hana but not all the way into the rainy part (about 20 minutes from Paia). We are right at the part of the Hana Hwy that starts to get windy and narrow, and where we get just enough rain to keep things green all year round. Located in Huelo on the north shore of Maui only fifteen minutes from Paia and thirty minutes from the airport, A'apali at Pali Uli is an indescribable enchantment of manicured tropical gardens, placid lotus ponds, and sweeping coastline vistas. Its nature reserve includes a quarter of a mile of rugged coastal shoreline and an entire coastal valley.
