Welcome to our little homestead in the Shenandoah Valley. You will get to enjoy a private 1-bedroom apartment on the lower level of our home. Wake up to gorgeous sunrise views over the mountains and deer grazing in our field. Make yourself a delicious breakfast with fresh eggs from our chickens and sip your coffee on the porch swing. We are an all organic permaculture farmstead with chickens and a massive garden. Our property is a work in progress, but we love it! And we love to show off all our plants and trees that we’ve planted if you want a tour. You also will be staying adjacent to Jenny’s pottery studio. We can sometimes accommodate wheel throwing classes if you’re interested. We also have 6 cats! You may hear them thundering around every so often upstairs, but please let us know if they are nothing you and we can sequester them for a while!

We are Jenny and Patrick! We moved to Virginia a few years ago for Patrick’s work in the humanitarian field. Jenny is a labor and delivery nurse and runs a popular “birth pottery” business.

You are just 30 minutes from Shenandoah National Park! Enjoy the quaint small town of Strasburg or head over the mountain to Wardensville, WV for a delicious dinner at Mack’s Bingo Kitchen. We are a great central location to explore the valley.
