Built in the 1880s and lovingly remodeled in recent years, this home maintains its original charm in its beautiful wood plank floors, exposed ceiling beams, and inviting country kitchen, yet it has also been updated with such modern amenities as free WiFi and a flatscreen TV with cable service. Here on the edge of the tidal Bagaduce River, you'll spend your days exploring the serene beauty of the Blue Hill Peninsula, taking easy day trips to Acadia National Park and Deer Isle, and coming home to a private deck, a stone firepit for evening s'mores and stories, and a gorgeous stretch of private, west-facing shoreline where you can take in unforgettable sunsets. A private gas grill is perfect for summertime cookouts.
