This prime location is within a short drive of Lake Anna State Park, which offers swimming, boating, and hiking options. History buffs can visit the Mineral Mining Museum to learn about the area's mining history. Outdoor enthusiasts can take a leisurely stroll or bike ride along the Heritage Trail, enjoy fishing and picnicking along the shores of Lake Anna, or attend local events and festivals, such as the Mineral Bluegrass Festival. As soon as you enter this solid log home, you are greeted by a splendid open floor plan complete with high vaulted ceilings, hardwood flooring, and a wall of windows ushering in tons of sunlight. The logs you see are Douglas Fir logs that were harvested from the mountains of British Columbia and brought here. A floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace adorns the great room and offers endless coziness during the winter months. From this level, you can easily access the home's wraparound deck with impressive panoramic views of the lake and numerous seats.
