Treat yourself and your family to a much-deserved escapade at this peaceful and comfortable rustic home! This two-story retreat enjoys a prime location on a high bluff overlooking the ocean with a stunning 180-degree panoramic view of the crystal blue waters of the Salish Sea leading into the Pacific Ocean. The property is at Diamond Point, a recreational enclave, with ready access to endless hiking and biking trails, national forest preserves, and the beach. There is easy access to boating, sailing, fishing, and kayaking and it is just a short ferry ride to Victoria and the Butchart Gardens. Wonderful dining is available following a short drive to the scenic port towns of Port Townsend, Sequim, and Port Angeles. Other great local attractions include Sequim Bay State Park, Marlyn Nelson County Park, Larry Scott Trailhead, Fort Townsend Historical State Park, Eaglemount Wine & Cider, Fort Worden - McCurdy Pavilion, and Hurricane Ridge Ski Area.
The home boasts an extensive wraparound deck where you can delight yourself with splendid vistas. On a clear day, you can see Mount Baker, the shipping lanes, and even Mt. Rainier. You can also admire beautiful sunrises and sunsets over the water and at night you can see the lights of Cape George. It is a very quiet and peaceful retreat offering abundant opportunities for wildlife viewing as well, such as eagles, seagulls, deer, wild canaries, hummingbirds, foxes, and raccoons. A lone eagle tree sits like a sentinel at the edge of the bluff, so keep an eye out for it!
