If you want a home with a history out in the country yet close to downtown Natchitoches, this is it. This isn’t a fancy bed and breakfast like in town. It is clean, comfortable and near a lot of cool lakes and bayous. This is our home and we are happy to host you! If you want to go fishing, we will take you! Want to try kayaking? We have a couple! We live in Clarence, Louisiana, a tiny map dot about 15 minutes from Natchitoches, 30 minutes from Coushatta and another 15 minutes to Montgomery. 90 minutes from the Shreveport airport. An hour from Alexandria. We are on a quiet country road. The house was built in the 1920’s and we are slowly restoring it. From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel at peace & at home. Two gigantic oak trees stand watch over the craftsman farmhouse. Free standing hammocks are just waiting to cradle you as you take a relaxing nap. Or maybe you’ll decide to sit in a rocker on the front porch and gaze out at bayou Bourbeaux across the street. Or perhaps you’ll sit on the back patio and watch the horses out in the pasture or catch an amazing sunrise each morning with a fresh cup of coffee. Relax by a fire at night. Play cornhole or just rest!

Our street is technically a highway but it’s a rural road. We have 9 acres that parallel bayou Bourbeaux and 3 that surround the house. It’s super quiet. You can see horses and cows in th neighbors pasture.
