My husband Antonio and I are couple that is passionate about food, new technologies and going on adventures. I am native Polish and former lawyer who escaped tons of papers and long office hours to do what I really love - being in the nature and hosting people. Antonio was born in Peru and is seriously dedicated to programming. He loves to spend his free time enjoying countryside life in Sierra Nevada. Family Modern Farmhouse by Casa Oso in Ahwahnee is a delightful gathering place for family and friends in the Sierra Nevada hills. This private modern farmhouse provides breathtaking views and a lot of outdoor area to enjoy, including a private spa and playground for kids. Thanks to an old California Oak tree and massive boulders laid next to the house, everything charms with nature’s ambience. The 5 acres getaway gives easy access to the city of Oakhurst and Bass Lake. Yosemite National Park is 45 min away. A freshly renovated one-story house creates its ambiance with family-friendly common areas, game room, spa and BBQ. The spacious kitchen, with its big island table, is a perfect place for cooking, sharing cocktails and spending family dinner time. An additional indoor children’s table can be used for dining or for crafts. The kitchen comes complete with great choices of cookware and dinnerware, coffee machine, grinder, toaster, mixed, blender and kettle. The attractiveness of the open space living area comes from its high ceilings, diverse seating arrangements, mountain views from both sides, and a charming wood stove.

Yosemite National Park South Gate Entrance in Fish Camp is 45 min drive from Casa Oso Ahwahnee. Yosemite entrance located in El Portal where Yosemite Valley is located takes 1 h drive. Travel times get longer during weekend rush hours and holidays. The property is not fully fenced and is located in a secluded place. All of the soundings of Yosemite National Park including urban areas have the component of wildlife. Some of the local animals that can be observed on a daily basis include deer, turkeys, squirrels, hawks, and rabbits. Not as common animals to see but living in the area are coyotes, bears, mountain lions, raccoons, opossum, skunk, rattlesnakes, tarantulas, and scorpions. Poison oak and poison ivy are also elements of local flora. All of California including the Sierra Nevada area is seasonally experiencing wildfires which are natural occurrences in the area. Some of the species like sequoias need fire to reproduce. Wildfires are likely to happen between June and November.
