Our house is in the desirable location of South Sandpoint, 5 blocks away from the core of downtown and 2 blocks away from the Lake Pend Oreille. We are also close from City Beach. You can walk or ride your bike to multiple restaurants, breweries, bars, stores... Schweitzer Mountain Ski Resort is just 20 minutes away along with The Idaho Club which is the only Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course in Idaho. Getting around in Sandpoint is very easy. If you want to use your car, finding places to park is easy; there is a free public parking lot downtown Sandpoint and most streets allow parking for up to two hours in the downtown 5 block core area. You can also use the free service of the Spot Bus which stops only one block from our house. This bus takes you to Ponderay, Dover and even to Schweitzer Mountain Ski Resort at the base of Schweitzer where you can take the free shuttle bus up to the ski village. One of Sandpoint's favorite methods of mobility is the bicycle; we have many suitable routes specifically for it. And finally, Sandpoint is a pedestrian friendly town, which makes walking not only pleasant but very safe.
