You'll be grinning ear-to-ear when you arrive at this incredible mountain chalet. Hand-built by a local artist and mountaineer, this three-bedroom retreat captures the spirit of Wy'east with custom art, furnishings, and metalwork accents, creating a beautiful Timberline Lodge-like aesthetic. The home also boasts prime convenience, with cross-country skiing and snowshoe trails accessible right out the front door and a short, two-block walk to shopping, bars, and dining in Government Camp.
A true gem of local craftsmanship, the home comes fully furnished from top to bottom with rustic-inspired comfort and all the modern amenities equipped for family comfort. The kitchen features cool cement counters and a full suite of appliances for handling home cooking with ease. The open living area sets the stage for group gatherings with sofas and an eight-seater dining table anchored by an impressive wood-burning fireplace. A cozy upstairs nook features a living area with a TV and assortment of books, plus a semi-private office space equipped for remote working with a dedicated desk and drafting table. Additional home essentials include free WiFi and a private washer/dryer.
The private deck area makes an ideal spot for morning coffee or post-hike and apres-ski cocktails.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a damage waiver fee which covers you for up to 3,000 dollars of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
