Company information

I am Castro, married to Latifah and we have two children. I bought this land and developed the property and I am also director of Adventure Alternative Tanzania, a travel company which is part of the Adventure Alternative 'family' of companies providing adventure travel holidays around the world. I have been organising safaris and treks for around thirty years now, and this campsite and guesthouse is part of my aspiration to provide good quality services to visitors.

Property information

A nice big campsite and a guesthouse with several rooms, some ensuite, hot showers, a big balcony, a cooking area and lots of space for parking, drying equipment and relaxing. We have tents to rent and a big store of equipment with kit for hire if you are going to the mountain or on safari.

Neighbourhood information

The campsite and guesthouse is just south of Moshi Town in a quiet area called Shirimatunda. There are shops and facilities around and it is expanding into a popular suburb for local people. In my experience this area is perfectly safe and mostly families and working couples live here.
