Jass Villa is a 2 bedroom house right on the beach in the village Jambiani. The view from the large and spacious terrace is breathtaking. The best part of the beach is right outside your door. You can swim at high tide or just walk for a few minutes straight out form the house to find the best water and sand possible at low tide. You will have the whole house for yourself regardless how many persons you are. Each bedroom have a double bed and newly installed A/C. Total number of persons that can sleep are 4. There are 2 bathrooms, 1 on each floor. It's very private although it's right next to the village. There are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. You can also hire our highly skilled chef to come and cook for you which makes your stay really comfortable.
I come from Sweden where the summer is to short and the winter far too long. Traveling and exploring new places is one of my interests. Africa was a black spot for long but after traveling toEast Africa I got hooked and when I came to Zanzibar some 10 years ago I found paradise on earth! I like sports of any kind and when i Zanzibar running on the beach, swimming and stand up paddling is my favorite exercise. The water is amazing in Jambiani and snorkelling at the reef is also a favorite hobby.
Jambiani is a unique authentic African Village where the locals live their life as they always have. In Jass Villa you will live very close with the locals and see the kids go to school and play football on the beach. You will see fishermen fishing with a small net or just using a hook and thread. In early morning the local women does exercise on the beach outside Jass Villa. Join if you want to! Like most other places in Africa life is simple and poor but people are friendly and hospitable. There are many nice restaurants nearby the house. Next door you have 3 restaurants to choose from. There are also small shops in the village where you can buy basic things like water, soda, eggs, fruits and bread etc.
If you want to explore more of the surroundings you can rent bicycles and ride along the beach. There are plenty of things to do and see in the neighborhood. Kite surfing is very popular and there is a kite school nearby. We can take you snorkle at the reef with our Dhow. The ride takes around 30 minutes and you will be out for around 3 hours.
