New to AirBnb, this amazing 150+ square meter apartment is situated in the heart of the Stone Town in Zanzibar. On the third floor of the first British Consulate in East Africa., it is a walk through history. Livingstone, Burton, Speak, Kirk, Grant and Nishal have lived here at some time in history. Its veranda has wonderful views of the sea, beach, Forodhani Gardens. Its minutes away from the best restaurants, bars, ATM machine, post office and taxi stands.
Use to live in London working in events management. Decided to take a break and move to Zanzibar to explore my artistic side, writing, painting and music. This project helps with that and I am happy to be your host. Will do my best to make your stay pleasant. We are shooting for a five star rating so please tell us if anything is missing in your stay so we can improve it.
The Shangani area is the heart of the Town. The beach is right in front of the apartment, great restaurants within 2 min walk in any direction, safe and plenty of shopping opportunities. The famous Forodhani night market is a 2 min walk away and can be seen from the apartment veranda. Walking is really all you need, but if you want to head to Paje or Nungwi for the day, taxis are available right outside.
