Sihuapilapa is conveniently located just a few minutes from Playa Mizata, renowned for its incredible surfing opportunities.
I was born in El Salvador and I have such a deep connection to the beauty of our pacific coast! I still spend many summers enjoying the beaches and taking in all of the beauty of the region. I love the ocean, regardless of whether I’m swimming, watching the birds or just relaxing in a hammock. There is nothing better than waking up in the morning listening to crashing waves from the bedroom window or having a cup of coffee while watching a beautiful sunrise. Sihuapilapa is a hidden treasure with a long, sandy beach in a friendly and safe environment located in Teotepeque, La Libertad. Only a few minutes from Mizata, an ideal surfing destination for all surfers who want to experience world class breaks with the most uncrowded and consistent waves in El Salvador. Mizata is a safe spot with restaurants and friendly local surfers. Sihuapilapa is 7 min (5.0 km) from Mizata Beach via CA 2E/CA-2 ( Carretera del Litoral de El Salvador ). Borderline between the departments of La Libertad and Sonsonate at Km 90. If you're coming from La Libertad, Sihuapilapa is located past the fifth tunnel after Mizata Beach, and before Playa Dorada Beach. If you are coming from Sonsonate, we are located 100 meters pass the Sonsonate-La Libertad Limit Km 90.
