I’m 34 years old, half Slovak, half Syrian. Born in Bratislava, I’ve spent nearly half my life here and the other half living in various countries across the Middle East. With a degree in Middle Eastern Studies and Languages, I work in the humanitarian sector with various NGOs. Our spacious and cozy Apartment is located on Kamenne square in the heart of Bratislava. The pedestrian Old Town is a few meters away, so everything is reachable on foot, and it is easy to park around. The apartment is 93m2/1000ft2, has two bedrooms, a large separate living room and a huge fully equipped kitchen, ideal for large groups (parties and stag parties not allowed). On the balcony you can enjoy the views of the rooftops and some of the sights as Koliba and Slavin.

Kamenné Square is a lively spot that really captures the energy of Bratislava. It’s full of cool cafes, bars, and plenty of things to do, and the best part? It’s just a short walk to the heart of the Old Town. One interesting landmark right on the square is Hotel Kyjev, a historic symbol of the communist era. It’s an iconic building that adds a bit of history to the modern vibe of the area. Not far from here, you can also visit the famous Blue Church, with its unique, fairy-tale-like architecture and beautiful blue tiles—definitely worth checking out! The Old Town itself is full of charm, with its cobblestone streets, cozy squares, and beautiful old buildings. You can visit Bratislava Castle with its amazing views over the Danube, explore the cute boutiques, try out some local food, or just enjoy the street performers—it’s a fun and relaxed place to be. Whether you’re here to see the sights, taste the local dishes, or just soak up the atmosphere, this area is a perfect spot to start your Bratislava adventure.
