We collaborated closely with the owners, one of whom is an architect, to create a space that is cozy, stylish, and functional, ensuring your stay is both comfortable and memorable. Indulge in the timeless charm of Villa Elizabeth, a historic gem nestled in the heart of Slovenj Gradec, Slovenia. Dated back to 1906, our villa has been lovingly restored to its former glory, preserving its historic charm while incorporating modern amenities to ensure an unforgettable and comfortable stay. Step into this elegant ground-floor SUITE 002, offering stunning views of the historic square and Elizabeth Church through large windows that fill the space with natural light. Inside, the bedroom features a luxurious Hespo mattress for ultimate comfort. The well-equipped kitchen (dishwasher, refrigerator, stove top, electric kettle, coffee maker, toaster …) and the spacious bathroom with premium amenities ensure a comfortable stay. Stylish furnishings, including pieces from renowned Slovenian designers Nika Zupanc and Rex Kralj, add a touch of Parisian chic to your experience at Villa Elizabeth. The suite is perfect for travelers with bikes, as it provides direct access to our lush garden and convenient bike storage on the same floor.

Slovenj Gradec is the oldest town in Carinthia (Koroška). The town is known for its artists and numerous cultural and social events. Among the main cultural attractions are the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Koroška, the Koroška Regional Museum, and the birth house of Hugo Wolf (you can try Hugo Wolf’s coffee!). Thanks to its lively cultural activities, the town has received numerous ‘Best-kept’ awards. 
The town and its surroundings of Uršlja Gora and Pohorje offer many different opportunities for recreation: skiing on Kope resort (25 minute drive), hiking and mountaineering, biking and cycling routes, including the Štrekna cycling route, which follows an abandoned railway line.
The best adventures to try are cycling or kayaking in the Peca Underworld (it’s rated a 5-star experience!), the Olimpline (the longest continuous zipline in Slovenia), parachute jumping, timber-rafting on the Drava …
